We stopped by a farm to taste honey and olive oil grown in the nutrient dense volcanic soil, Valley of the Ox (site of an old volcanic valley formed thousands of years ag0), a cave formed by lava, and finished by hiking up to one of the craters, then going to a good spot to watch the sunset. This was one of my favorite and most memorable experiences in Sicily. read less

We thoroughly enjoyed this experience – not only because the person who led the tasting was incredibly friendly and kind, but also because the farm itself was absolutely beautiful. It was a great chance to discover and learn about local products I didn’t even know existed.

The Etna tour and cave visit were led by our guide, Enzo, who made the day truly special for all of us. He is extremely knowledgeable and definitely a people person – very friendly and more than happy to answer any questions you may have.

I would highly recommend this tour to everyone. This was my second tour with Etna Tribe, and when I return to Catania, I’ll definitely book with them again.
